Fewer failed trades, plus a brand-new What's New page
We found two things that were making some trades fail or confusing people, and fixed both of them.
On the website
- Some Pokémon can only come from Pokémon GO, like Gimmighoul's Roaming form. Pokémon from GO have hidden strength numbers (IVs) that follow a special pattern, and the bot says no to anything else. Now the Pokémon Creator sets those numbers to the right pattern for you, so the trade works.
- If you paste a Pokémon's name in another language, like "Glurak" (that's German for Charizard), the bot can't read it. Now the Showdown page catches it before your trade starts and tells you the English name to use.
- New: this What's New page! Every time we fix or add something, you'll find it here with the date and time. Find it any time under Info → What's New at the top of the site.
