Rattata is a Normal-type Pokémon (National Dex #19) with a low stat total of 253. You can have one built for BDSP and Let's Go, and every copy is generated through the same PKHeX legality engine Pokémon HOME uses on deposit.

Its best stat is Speed at 72, which makes it a balanced all-rounder. Attack outweighs Special Attack by a clear margin, so an Adamant or Jolly nature and a physical move set play to its strengths. When you order one here you pick the nature, EV spread, IVs and Tera type yourself, so you can build the exact spread the set calls for rather than breeding for it.

Defensively, Rattata takes super-effective damage from Fighting. It is completely immune to Ghost. Its ability options are Run Away, Guts, Hustle, and you choose which one your copy carries.

Rattata evolves into Raticate (20). You can order any stage directly rather than raising it — useful when you want the final evolution at a specific level, or the pre-evolution with an egg move it can only learn early.

In-game, Rattata has 71 recorded encounter locations across BDSP (34), Let's Go (37) — listed in full below with levels, catchable marks and legal Poké Balls. A shiny Rattata ordered here is built with a legal PID and Encryption Constant, so it passes the same checks a hunted one does. Frequently Asked Questions about Rattata

How do I get Rattata for free?
Order it on GenPKM. Pick Rattata in the Pokédex, choose the level, nature, IVs, EVs, ability, Poké Ball and whether you want it shiny, then our trade bot runs a Link Trade and sends it to your game. It is free, and it takes about a minute once you are through the queue.
Which games is Rattata available in?
GenPKM can build Rattata for BDSP, Let's Go. Each game has its own move pool and encounter data, so the copy you receive is legal for the specific game you pick.
Is a genned Rattata legal in Pokémon HOME?
Yes. Every Rattata built here is validated against PKHeX, which applies the same legality rules Pokémon HOME uses when you deposit. It passes HOME without flags and transfers normally between the games that support the species.
What is Rattata weak against?
Rattata is Normal-type, so it takes super-effective damage from Fighting. It is immune to Ghost.
What is the best nature for Rattata?
Rattata's Attack (56) is well ahead of its Special Attack (25), so a physical nature suits it — Adamant to maximise damage, or Jolly if you want the extra Speed. You choose the nature when you order, so there is no breeding involved.
Which abilities can Rattata have?
Rattata can have Run Away, Guts, Hustle. You select which one your copy carries when you order it, including the hidden ability where the species has one.
Can I get a shiny Rattata?
Yes. Tick shiny when you order and the Rattata you receive is generated with a legal PID and Encryption Constant, so it passes the same shiny verification a hunted one does.
